Just got an email from my friend George Katsoudas promoting a new wordpress product called Html2Wp and as the name says its a worpdress plugin that turns static html pages to WordPress Pages, thought I’d do a quick Review of HTML2WP.

If I wanted to put up a PLR product salespage I would manually go through the process of creating a page template, uploading the PLR html page, the images, other folders and scripts if necessary and cross my fingers as I ftp’d the stuff to the site. Then you go into Pages click on templates, pick the right one and presto….. there’s your salespage….. if you’re lucky.

George also build into HTML2WP the ability to use “shortcodes” …. this is way too cool. If you know what shortcodes are then you know how powerful they can be, if you have no idea ….don’t worry because you don’t have to use them.

Public Domain Guru Tony Laidig is Back!

Its always too easy to rip on some internet marketing guru and most don't give praise when praise is due unless it is to get some kind of benefit.



Although I have some affiliate links in this post, I just wanted to give notice and let others know how happy I was to see Tony Laidig, Public Domain Guru (my words), extract himself from all the internet marketing strategies of scarcity, price, dimesales etc.



Got an email from Tony saying he saw the error of his ways and now just wants to share his products in a way the best benefits his customers/students. I don't deny anyone making an income online and Tony has to do what he needs to do to make money .....but when he started out he gave away so much material that you didn't have to buy his stuff!



I did however buy a lot of his courses and ebooks and his teaching on images and public domain usage is unequaled by anyone. I hope he continues to share his good stuff for those who can't afford it and I hope he can be profitable selling his other products.

I Tony Laidig the Public Domain Expert and I was really surprised by his email today! First, let me give you some background.

If you are new to internet marketing and making money online then public domain material is one of the easiest ways to get started…. in fact, one of my first products was from public domain material.

Tony didn’t proclaim himself as a public domain expert. In fact, I must have just found him as he was getting started online. He shared some of the most amazing strategies for using public domain materials. He shared resources… in fact he shared just about everything he knew ….at least I suspect. His material was valuable and reminded me of the old days of when being on someone’s list meant that you received instructional materials, tips and techniques…. not one pitch after another!

Tony’s knowledge of photoshop and his use of public domain images is simply beyond amazing. He’s got a product called Photo Profit Secrets that is more of a course than a single ebook. I honestly haven’t seen it yet, but I have a couple of his other public domain image related products that are just outstanding.

Aug 03 Niche Profit Classroom 3.0 Review By scottparat

I review Niche Profit Classroom each month because each month this membership provides 2 “niche packs” which obviously covers 2 different well researched niches. For each niche you get a set of articles, ebook, keyword research, an email mini-course to start a list with, graphics, a salesletter for the ebook, a custom wordpress template, a traffic blueprint and market research summary. This is by far the most complete niche marketing course available on the internet. If you want to learn internet marketing and niche marketing then join Niche Profit Classroom and prepare yourself to study and apply! I can’t promise success, but if you stick out their membership for at least a year….. I promise you will know more than 80 to 90% of those claiming to be internet marketers.

This month I set up two niche websites, one covers The Paleo Diet and the other is Basement Waterproofing.

Typically I do some quick keyword research, if I’m short of time I use the keywords provided by the folks at Niche Profit Classroom. I’ll then dump the keywords and keyword phrases in the Bulk Name Registration section of Godaddy to see if any of these keywords are available for domain names. First I go for .com names, next I try for .net and finally I’ll take a .org if absolutely necessary. Although research shows that there isn’t a lot of difference between those three other than the psychological difference regarding .com and the familiarity with most folks.
